A domed, mushroom-cap metal button with fine radial pleating that fans out from the centre, made for Chanel-style tweed jackets, wool coats, trench coats and chunky knitwear. Four sizes: 86831 (15 mm, 1.72 g), 86832 (18 mm, 2.41 g), 86833 (20 mm, 2.86 g) and 86834 (23 mm, 3.45 g), each in matte sand silver, sand gold or matte tea-oil bronze. The pleated surface breaks up reflections into soft highlights, which is why the matte finishes look closer to cast brass than to plated metal — and why the button stays quiet next to textured tweed.
