An irregular, organically shaped metal button with a large oval crystal set off-centre, made for Chanel-style tweed jackets, wool coats, trench coats and chunky knitwear. Three sizes, measured width × height: 62491 (19.5 × 15 mm, 1.82 g), 62492 (25 × 18.5 mm, 2.95 g) and 62493 (30 × 22 mm, 4.90 g), each in gunmetal, white nickel or tea gold. The bark-like faceted surface catches light unevenly, so the crystal reads as a found stone rather than a pasted-on stone — a raw, artisanal contrast to polished coat hardware.
